on 10.10.10 we celebrated our 12th year of marriage. at first i was upset that it was on a sunday, since we do not go anywhere or buy anything on sundays. but, as the day progressed i realized that i loved it was on a sunday. with our busy and hectic lives, neither of us work on a sunday and we were able to have a pretty relaxing day. we had breakfast with blake's parents and went to church in the morning. after church the palmer's watched the boys and we packed a small picnic and walked to the local park and enjoyed some quiet time. blake brought me flowers the day before and jack picked out a card all on his own to give to me. blake's parents generously gave us some gift cards to target since we need new clothes! i made blake chocolate molten lava cakes that he has been craving. we have decided in 8 years on our 20th we would like to go to alaska.

Congrats guys! It's hard to believe it's been so long, not in a bad way, just i have fond memories of your reception!
Still blows my mind that you've been married that long!! But it's also wonderful to see how you have supported each other, worked through differences, etc. You've definitely earned that trip to Alaska!
Alaska is amazing! I'd suggest doing a cruise, that's how I went and it was worth every penny! Congrats!
